Delta Facilities Management delivers asset management, maintenance and construction services. Due to unprecedented growth on our QLD Children's Hospital Project in South Brisbane, we are looking for an experienced HSEQ Manager.
This role is responsible for facilitating compliance with the Compass Group Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Management System and providing specialist advice and resources on health, safety, environment, and quality issues across the precinct. This role will promote and maintain Our Safety Culture framework across all sites and will provide mentoring and training to site-based management staff on safety matters. Managing the critical business aspect of monitoring and reporting on "Contractor pre-approvals (CPA's)" and Job request authorisations (JRA's) to enable staff and contractors to access site and critical areas with minimum impact to site operations. Providing guidance on development of risk assessments and Safe work procedures to all staff.
The PositionEnsuring Chemicals used on site are approved by the client and are secured and stored appropriatelyMaintain all site Health and Safety registers, plans and proceduresReview and update as required at least annually the Quality Assurance plan for siteLiaise with the client regarding emergency planningIn conjunction with other managers contribute to the performance monitoring including participation in client auditsProvide input on all aspects of Health and Safety activities for the Monthly performance reportThe PersonHSEQ Cert IV MinimumMinimum 5 years' experience in a similar roleFlexible approach and attitude, with good communication skillsPerformance Management experiencePermit to work authorityIn line with the required legislation, a valid and current National Police check (within 3 months), and other immunisations will be required as part of the standard recruitment and selection process for this position.The BenefitsYou will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
