The Role
An extraordinary opportunity awaits the right candidate: the chance to become an invaluable member of the Unicare team in Bentley, WA as Head of Operations. As part of this role, you will ensure the seamless alignment of all operational functions to surpass customer expectations. You will have the privilege of identifying and implementing the most effective strategies for optimizing warehouse, inventory, and purchasing operations. Key responsibilities include:
Working closely and strategically with the leadership team to drive a continuous improvement agenda by taking a leadership role in the development of operations
Oversee the day to day activity in purchasing, inventory and warehousing operations
Provide support, guidance, and direction to the team to ensure the daily work tasks are performed within operational guidelines and in a safe and efficient manner
Evaluate and improve operational procedures to align with organisational objectives
Evaluate overall performance through data analysis and metrics interpretation
Oversee hiring and ongoing development of all department personnel
Maintain and drive a culture of safety awareness and compliance
Effective communication with team members, customers, and other stakeholders
Ensure warehouses and storage areas are maintained and in excellent condition
What we are looking for:
Experience at senior level operations management
Highly motivated and proactive individual who demonstrates a strong drive for results and assumes accountability for actions
Exceptional time management skills, enabling efficient handling of multiple tasks
High level communication skills and the ability to network and negotiate effectively with individuals and groups, within the company and outside
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of warehousing and inventory management, equipped with insights to optimize operations and drive productivity
