HSE Manager Tamworth Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Great Benefits

Main Purpose of the Job: To develop and advance the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) strategy of the business, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures in line with ISO standards (9001, 14001 & 45001).Conduct risk assessments and regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards.Deliver HSE training and induction programs for employees to promote awareness and compliance.Investigate incidents and accidents, providing reports and recommendations to prevent recurrence.Monitor and review HSE performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.Collaborate with various departments to integrate HSE considerations into business operations and projects.Ensure compliance with NEBOSH and other relevant safety certifications.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HSE legislation and industry best practices.Provide advice and support to management on all HSE matters.Key Objectives: Successfully develop and drive the HSE strategy forward, aligning it with business goals.Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 standards.Achieve a reduction in workplace incidents and accidents through proactive HSE management.Foster a culture of continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental practices.Education / Skills: NEBOSH qualified.Strong knowledge and experience with ISO standards (9001, 14001 & 45001).Proven experience in a similar HSE role, preferably within the Manufacturing sector.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Proficient in using HSE management software and Microsoft Office applications.Benefits: Competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000.Generous Holiday Allowance.Private Health insurance.Professional development opportunities.Our client is committed to fostering a safe and compliant workplace and is seeking a dedicated HSE Advisor to join their growing team.
