We are an emerging self-performing Construction Contractor providing Pipeline Construction and Gas Gathering Services to our Clients in Mining and Oil & Gas Industries in the Surat and Bowen Basin and other sites across Australia.
If you are looking at taking the next step in your career, an opportunity now exists for an experienced HSE Adviser to join this well-supported team in an operational and systems management position at our pipeline construction and gas gathering project in the Surat Basin.
The role could suit a junior HSE looking for a supportive environment to expand but ideally, we are looking for someone with a minimum 3 years experience.
Reporting to the Project Manager this role is responsible for
Providing HSE leadership to our Supervisors and Staff on site
Supporting site-based health, safety and environment activities to ensure the competence and well-being of people, the integrity of equipment, and the safe handling of materials;
Ensuring all personnel and subcontractor personnel are adequately trained in Moec site safety procedures and systems and that these are complied with;
Conducting safety investigations, preparing reports and recommendations, and implementing corrective and preventative actions;
Attending and contributing to daily prestarts,
Developing and conducting Toolbox Talks;
Ensure compliance with the relevant statutory requirements, legislation, and our Client HSE management system;
Conduct regular workplace inspections;
Manage and coordinate document control of project HSE records.
Updating, improving and implementing HSE documentation to a high standard
During Project Downtime, we would be looking for a candidate to come back to Brisbane head office to assist with overall company HSE and ISO systems.
To be considered for these roles, you must have the following relevant qualifications, certifications and experience:
Skills and experience
Safety Leadership
HSE experience on Pipeline Construction and Gas Gathering Projects
TAE Trainer assessor (desirable)
Proficient with Microsoft office and preparation of HSE management plans / SWMS etc
Candidates must be available to start work in next 2-4 weeks, and pass a pre-employment medical.
Roster 18 days on, 10 off. (Paid Travel out on day 1 and day 10 of RnR). Ute Provided. Work Starting in 2-6 weeks.

a Current driver's license and white card
Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety procedures
Willingness to travel and work in remote locations
