Role Overview:
KBSS is seeking a proactive and motivated HSE Advisor, local to Karratha or nearby, to join our team.
Based out of our head office in the Karratha LIA, this full-time role involves regular site work at client locations.
Reporting directly to the HSE Specialist, this position is perfect for someone ready to kickstart their HSE career with some prior site or operational experience, or for those with existing HSE experience looking to take the next step.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities at project sites, including reporting and administrative tasks.
Support the rollout and monitoring of HSE policies and procedures across the business.
Work closely with Superintendents, Supervisors, employees, and Client Representatives to ensure HSE standards are applied and maintained on site.
Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
Aid in incident investigations, implementing corrective actions, and escalating issues to the HSE Specialist as necessary.
Support injury and illness management coordination.
Perform other HSE duties to meet project needs.
Key Requirements:
Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety or working towards Construction White Card Valid C Class Driver's Licence Police Clearance Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent time management and organizational abilities Rio Tinto induction (desired but not essential) Incident Investigation training (desired but not essential) Ready to Apply?
