Hse Advisor - Jalna

Here is an exciting opportunity for you!We are seeking an HSE Advisor to support Jalna, Jalplas, Campbellfield sites and our Jalna Farm.Position Summary:In this role you will be responsible for driving continuous HSE Performance Improvement throughout the site(s) and Health Safety and Environment activity in line with the National Safety Plan and Site Safety Plans.Key Responsibilities:Assisting sites in the development of site safety plans.Managing trade waste compliance in line with the Trade Waste Agreement.Raising purchase orders and reviewing costs associated with waste disposal, water and safety expenses.Maintain a strong operational 'presence' across the site.Coach and mentor team leaders and managers in safety processes.Drive safety improvement through initiatives, training, and coaching.Initiate, coordinate and/or deliver safety training programs leading to safety performance improvement.Assist site teams to investigate all incidents and accidents to ensure they get to root cause.Assist teams to conduct safety audits, hazard identification, risk assessment and accident prevention programs.Assist teams to implement HSE procedures based on approved company policies.Maintain current knowledge of Safety and Workers Compensation legislation and communicate changes to relevant management.Assist with return to work programs for injured employees within the site.Assist sites in the development of emergency processes.Complete all tasks and duties as reasonably requested by your leader.Pro-actively seek continuous improvement opportunities within the business.What will make you successful:Minimum 2 years' experience in driving & deploying HSE within a business preferably in factory operations role.Tertiary qualification in HSE or Engineering.Knowledgeable in HSE compliance, emerging regulations, and trends.Strong influencing skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.If you are ready to join the #LactalisExperience, apply now!
