The successful candidate will have the chance to engage with various stakeholders, identify service delivery improvements, and lead conversations about unsafe conditions.What you'll do:As a Health, Safety and Environment Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of safety within the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve conducting hazard identification exercises, risk assessments, safety inductions, delivering relevant training sessions, leading incident investigations, and promoting environmental awareness among site-based personnel. You will also be responsible for establishing positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders while communicating effectively to ensure service delivery improvements. Your ability to conduct conversations about unsafe conditions will be paramount in this role.* Actively promote environmental awareness among site-based personnel* Conduct hazard identification exercises and risk assessments regularly* Deliver relevant training sessions on safety, health, and environment* Lead incident investigations ensuring all aspects are thoroughly examined* Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders* Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure service delivery improvements* Assist in communicating Safety, Health and Environment goals across the organisationWhat you bring:The ideal candidate for this HSE Advisor role will bring a wealth of experience from similar roles within the industry. With at least three years' experience under your belt, you'll have developed a keen eye for identifying hazards and assessing risks. A Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety is essential for this role, while additional qualifications such as a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and a Diploma in Quality Auditing would be highly regarded.
