Reporting to the WHSEQ Manager, your role and responsibilities will be to offer partnering support to the organisation in managing HSE Risk, Strategy and to meet the goals of Rema Tip Top Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities: Advise and assist Executives, General and State Managers on matters relating to HSE issues. Demonstrate knowledge and ability to create, evaluate, interpret and administer HSE policies and procedures. Demonstrate knowledge and implementation of behavioural based safety initiatives. Develop and promote safety awareness programs to encourage improved safety awareness throughout the organisation. Create, evaluate and administer the HSE framework, which is to include the development and presentation of training programs for management. Monitor the progress and success of HSE initiatives. Mentor operations and site-based personnel. Conduct surveys, audits and investigations into HSE matters. Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with regulatory bodies and clients to foster a professional image of the organisation. Maintain an extensive knowledge of applicable safety rules and regulations including government regulations, standards and policies. Keep abreast of developments, initiatives and emerging practices relating to HSE to ensure the organisation maintains an edge in keeping employees safe. About You: Tertiary Qualifications in HSE or equivalent skills acquired through previous roles (a minimum of Diploma in HSE). 5+ years' experience in HSE, ideally within the mining/heavy industrial service industry. Communication - Ability to engage with the workforce clearly and concisely at all levels to deliver the desired HSEQR messaging, including sometimes having the tough conversations. Knowledge of the relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice and any other applicable standards of the industry. Willingness to travel regularly in line with operational requirements, with the majority of travel in WA, but also to our operations across the country. Australian Working Rights.
