THE OPPORTUNITYWe are seeking to find an enthusiastic and committed HSE Officer to join the team to work directly with our engineering and frontline construction crews to ensure that our written system is followed through at the field level.
You will be based out of our 12,000 sqm head office in Molendinar – working side by side with our project management teams to influence safe, efficient delivery.
You will be responsible for maintaining HSE compliance and positively influencing our health and safety culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Build & maintain positive internal and external relationshipsPerform regular HSE inspections and audit HSE processesClose out action items raised as a result of site inspection/ auditsDevelop and maintain site specific HSE documentation (ie.
Management Plans, SWMS, Risk Registers etc.
)Review and maintenance of HSE records to ensure complianceManagement of sub-contractor/ supplier onboarding processesMentor and train personnel to promote a positive HSE cultureDevelop and present informative Toolbox TalksSKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTSDiploma or Cert IV – Work Health and SafetyExcellent computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)First Aid & CPRGeneral Construction InductionCertificate in Lead Auditor Training (preferred)Working knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001 & 9001 (preferred)High attention to detail, diligence for quality of work and pride in your own deliverablesExcellent communication skills both written and verbalJOB BENEFITS & PERKSLive local, work localMonday - FridayGreat remuneration package (incl.
