Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced HR Truck Drivers to join our team based in Welshpool. This role involves the requirement of an open HR Licence and Road Ranger gearbox experience. Driving a rigid tipper, loading and unloading of soil for construction and residential clients within the Perth metropolitan area. The successful candidate will be a competent driver, reliable and have a strong understanding of road safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive and operate heavy rigid truck.
Correctly use the hydraulic lift to load and unload soil, ensuring safe and efficient handling of tipper over uneven ground and rough weather conditions. We are willing to offer training if you do not have any tipper experience.
Conduct pre-start vehicle checks and report any issues to management.
Communicate effectively over two-way to coordinate load/unload placement.
Be effective in time management to look for best routes with the aim of fitting in as many trips as possible for the day including adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
Complete necessary details in mobile app accurately.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Valid open HR driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience in driving HR trucks.
Familiarity with Perth metropolitan area is a must.
Will need White Card and Drivers Medical before starting.
Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
