We are seeking an experienced HR Project Consultant to join our client on a project basis, focusing on a critical HR scaling initiative. This role serves as a bridge between HR and project teams to facilitate the classification, hiring, and onboarding of up to 40 roles as our client builds a new team to enhance service delivery for Queenslanders. Reporting directly to the director, you will collaborate closely with the project officer, HR teams, and external partners, ensuring compliance and supporting the recruitment process across multiple positions. Key responsibilities include role design, advertising, onboarding, and appointment.

Key Responsibilities Collaborate with HR and project teams to lead the reclassification process by reviewing and refining position descriptions, ensuring they align with classification standards for key roles. Oversee the recruitment of approximately 18 roles, managing documentation, job postings, and panel setups to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process. Foster effective communication with internal stakeholders, including project leaders and department heads, to support recruitment efforts, address queries, and keep projects on track. Uphold high ethical standards and confidentiality throughout the recruitment and classification processes, ensuring transparency and integrity in handling sensitive information. Essential Skills and Experience Proven experience in HR, particularly in job evaluation, classification, and compliance within a governmental context. Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume recruitment projects under tight deadlines, ideally in the public sector. Exceptional communication skills with the flexibility to engage diverse stakeholders. This role demands independence, sound judgment, and mature decision-making. Familiarity with recruitment platforms and government classification processes is a plus. Details Location:  Brisbane CBD, with hybrid work options. Initial onsite requirement, with potential flexibility for 2 days remote work once proficiency and autonomy are demonstrated. Duration: Contract through February 2025, with possible extension based on project needs and performance.
