Hr/Payroll Systems Specialist

Business/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology) We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Systems Specialist to join a high-performing team, where you'll contribute to the ongoing operation and enhancement of payroll systems and integration solutions.
This role will play a pivotal part in supporting day-to-day operations, including the Ascender/aPay system, and later integrating with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
Key Responsibilities: Provide expert support for the Ascender/aPay platform, including customisations, Web Self Service (WSS), and Extend modules.
Manage user requests through the Service Desk, ensuring effective triage and maintaining system integrity.
Resolve issues efficiently and participate in testing of changes delivered by Vendor Partners.
Support the integration of various systems, including SuccessFactors Employee Central and related modules, APIs, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Collaborate with business stakeholders and Vendor Partners to ensure seamless communication and system functionality.
Contribute to the analysis and management of enhancement requests, SaaS releases, and minor upgrades.
What You'll Do: Provide comprehensive support across key modules of the Ascender/aPay system.
Manage and resolve user requests, ensuring the core product remains maintainable and effective.
Assist with integration processes and support ongoing projects related to HR and payroll systems.
Engage with stakeholders from different areas of the business and Vendor Partners to ensure smooth communication and project success.
Support the existing project team, ensuring a smooth transition from implementation to operational handover.
Your Expertise: Hands-on experience with HR/Payroll processes and solutions (proficiency in Ascender/aPay is essential).
Intermediate to advanced SQL skills, including writing queries and report development.
Solid understanding of database design, system configuration, and overall product management.
Experience with business analysis, change management, and release management.
This role will be offered as an initial 12 month Fixed Term Engagement.
Day rate contract options are also available.
