Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator/Officer to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will support our client's HR department in various Human Resources and Recruitment tasks as well as contribute to the employee engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
Maintain employee records and update HR databases with personnel information.
Help coordinate training and development programs for staff.
Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
Assist in managing employee benefits and payroll inquiries.
Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and events.
Provide general administrative support to the senior members of the HR team.
Coordinate HR compliance activities and support HR lead with project-based HR support as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in an HR role or administrative support is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HR software (e.g. Success Factors, HRIS, Elmo, etc.).
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Current National Police Clearance.
Working with Children's Clearance or NDIS Clearance ideal but not essential.
