About Our ClientMatrix Composites and Engineering are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their team and provide expert HR guidance to the management team. This role focuses on supporting the Senior Management Team and CEO, specifically in managing all people-related aspects of the business. The HR Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the HR service is proactive, cost-effective, and efficient, delivering value to the organisation while maintaining a strong focus on aligning people strategies with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR practices, a proven track record of strategic HR leadership, and the ability to manage complex HR matters with a strong business acumen.Job DescriptionDevelop and implement the HR strategy in alignment with the overall business plan to support company goals and objectivesDesign and manage succession planning in collaboration with the leadership team to ensure a pipeline of talent for critical rolesLead the recruitment strategy for the company, overseeing all professional appointments to ensure a skilled and diverse workforceLead the development and execution of training and development programs, including the Performance and Development Planning processProvide expert advice on applicable legislation, including industrial instrument interpretation, to mitigate potential business risks and ensure complianceDevelop and manage the Remuneration & Benefits strategy, ensuring competitive and equitable compensation for employeesConduct annual benchmarking reviews of remuneration and benefits to ensure market competitiveness and develop business cases for changes when neededProvide strategic direction and oversight for HR reporting and analytics, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of monthly and ad-hoc reportsDevelop strategies to promote diversity in the workplace, and provide coaching and support to the leadership team in its implementationEnsure all HR practices comply with legislative requirements, company policies, and the organisation's values and behaviorsLead regular audits within the HR function to ensure compliance and support continuous improvementDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR systems, streamline processes, and build team confidence and expertiseProvide strong leadership and mentorship to the HR team, developing direct reports and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvementEnsure that all risks are identified, controlled, and managed effectively, and that personal protective equipment (PPE) is used and maintained properly.Ensure all activities comply with federal, state, and local laws, corporate policies, data security requirements, and security protocols.The Successful ApplicantTertiary Qualification in HRM; Industrial Relations/Sociology, Organisational Psychology, or equivalentMinimum of 7 years Senior HR or Managerial experience in HRExcellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and problem-solving skillsResults oriented with strong analytical, planning and organisation skillsIntermediate MS Office skills.Proven leadership and management skills including mentoring, coaching & influencing skills to effect cultural changeMinimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or chemical processing environmentDemonstrated experience managing payroll functions, including award and enterprise agreement interpretation and guidanceWhat's on OfferMatrix Composites & Engineering is an ASX listed company that provides solutions consisting of engineered products and integrated services to the global oil and gas industry!
