Job DescriptionA very unique opportunity to join a super fast-growing engineering business with offices based around Australia. Due to their growth, they have created a Head of Human Resources position to further develop their HR function including systems, processes, and procedures.
Reporting to the COO, you will work closely to support the business with day-to-day HR requirements and ongoing strategic and transformation projects. In addition, you will build long-term partnerships with key stakeholders, ensuring that you always demonstrate integrity, strong ethics and values, together with dedicated customer focus with every interaction. This will be a hands-on role initially as you understand the business and requirements before you grow the function.
The main responsibilities include:
Provide dedicated end to end support, guidance and services to the business region to achieve strategic outcomesProvide support to the business in relation to performance management, remuneration reviews, promotions and transitions as well as day to day human resource managementSupport employee relations and industrial relations along with policy interpretation, workplace investigations and complaint managementProvide understanding and guidance of EBA, Awards and ActsDevelop engagement and retention strategiesPartner with the business on a range of strategic initiatives and projectsFoster an engaged, committed and customer centric workforce, where staff embrace change, are flexible and agile in their work
The successful candidate will be happy to be hands on initially, but with the capability to build a world class HR function to support the business's growth. This role will suit someone who is looking for that next challenge who is passionate about engagement, culture and all aspects of the talent lifecycle whilst delivering change and cultural improvement.
