The HR Manager will provide functional HR leadership and support across all HR activities within our Australia and New Zealand subsidiary. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the HR Manager will be responsible for the full breadth of operational HR functions encompassing HR Administration, Comp & Ben, Recruitment, Training & Development, Performance Management, and Employee Relations.
This requires an effective HR professional who is able to effect a positive organisation culture, and who is able to support Management to drive the growth of the overall business.
Job Description:Recruitment and On-boarding: Lead the recruitment effort to attract the right talent for the organisation. Put in place good onboarding programs to ensure the seamless integration of new employees into the company.Employee Relations: Be involved in all employee engagement matters, including all personnel-related issues in disciplinary actions, grievances, and dismissals. To help maintain a fair, open, supportive and collaborative work environment. Actively address employee concerns and foster positive relationships throughout the organisation.Training & Development: Understand training and development needs of employees. Marshall and organise such training or relevant programs to support employee learning.Understand and implement talent development initiatives in ANZ.HR Administration: Provide the HR administrative efficiency and effectiveness for a widely dispersed team and organisation. Ensure good HR practices in data and record keeping, contracts etc in compliance with local laws.Compensation & Benefits: Oversee the overall C&B system and ensure alignment of compensation and benefits with the market.This role requires an HR professional with at least 8 years of experience. While the person may not have the full breadth of functional HR experience, he/she will be expected to be competent in Recruitment, Talent Management and Employee Relations.In recruitment, it is expected that the person is able to put in place innovative strategies to hire the right talent into the organisation.In talent management, it is expected that the person has some experience to support talent management, including supporting the assessment of local talent, providing the right support and training programs to grow talent, and putting in place employee development activities. Some experience in performance management in supporting talent management will also be advantageous.In communications, this will be vitally important as the HR person can significantly improve the internal communications within the workplace and across the organisation. Hence someone with an engaging personality, keen interest in employees and their well-being, as well as someone who understands the strategic value of internal communications to the organisation will also be highly valued.Qualifications:Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR management with in-depth experience in Recruitment, Talent Management and Managing Employee Relations.Experience in working within smaller companies or teams with less than 200 employees will be relevant.Light travelling is expected as part of the role to support HR functions and initiatives across various locations within ANZ.Skills:Ability to efficiently manage multiple HR functions.Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labour laws.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organisation.High level of cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural environment.Experience in change management, including guiding organisations through transitions and managing the impact of change on employees and processes.About the jobContract Type: Permanent
