With particular emphasis on business partnering, the role will work together with the COE Team members to provide full cycle Human Resources support. It will execute our people initiatives, provide internal stakeholder support, and drive HR functional excellence and process improvement together with the HR Business Partnering Team.
Key AccountabilitiesBeing an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environmentDay to day operational management of the generalist HR Business Partnering team, including being an escalation pointServe as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and employees on matters related to employee relations and performance managementOversee all HR operations for both Retail and Head OfficeProactively identify and address employee concerns, fostering a fair and respectful workplace cultureConduct investigations and provide guidance on disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulationsCollaborate with the Performance and Rewards, Talent Management, WHS and Talent Acquisition COE on initiatives to be delivered in the retail and head office spaceWork closely with management and employees to improve engagement, increase productivity and retentionReview, update and enforce our HR policies and proceduresCoaching and mentoringHR ReportingPivotal and professional qualifications:Strong generalist HR knowledge and experience with a minimum of 5 years working experience within the retail or FMCG industryUnderstanding of Australian Labour legislation and best practices.Deep knowledge of the General Retail Industry AwardExperience in leading, coaching and mentoring direct reportsA hands-on approach with a passion for contributing to strategy and HR operationsResults and solution focused with strong problem solving and conflict resolution skillsPeople oriented with the ability to build rapport & coach at all levelsAdaptable and flexible with the ability to handle complexityExcellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skillsIf you are looking for a new challenge and feel you have the relevant skills then don't miss out!
