This includes contributing to strategic policy and procedures to ensure organisational effectiveness and achievement of goals. The HR Manager will work closely with the global support functions such as compensation and benefits, learning and development, and talent attraction, and will be responsible for maintaining relevant administrative activities including employment contracts.If you want a multi-dimensional 3D career in a leading healthcare organisation, join us.Key Responsibilities:Providing advice and guiding management and individuals on organisation design, culture, engagement, employee development, legislation, organisation change and/or company HR policies and procedures for Australia/New Zealand.Managing performance issues including discipline, sickness, absence, recruitment, grievances, and all other HR issues.Ensuring the protection of confidential information as per the Norgine Data Integrity Policy.Staying updated on new developments in legislation and case law.Developing and delivering HR projects in conjunction with the HR business Partner.Implementing short, medium, and long-term development plans in conjunction with management.Planning and undertaking specified projects to improve HR systems and processes.Coaching sales teams, including field days, using the 4S selling model.Continuously improving and developing HR practices and maintaining personal and professional abilities.Complexity:The HR Manager operates in a global matrix structure and has an important role in communicating with all levels of the organisation. The individual is required to have tact and discretion as well as the ability to see things through in a proactive manner.The HR Manager is the first point of contact for all HR-related matters in the Australian office and therefore an ambassador for Norgine. It is essential that the individual presents a professional approach and possesses strong communication and written skills. The accuracy of typed communication and the presentation of information must be of a high standard.Although some tasks may be routine or cyclical, there are several non-routine tasks that demand flexibility and insight in their prioritisation and balancing. The HR Manager must handle confidential information securely.The HR Manager must be a strategic sparring partner for the local management team in Australia and contribute to the longer-term strategy.Relationships:General Manager ~ AustraliaManagement teams ~ AustraliaHead of CommercialEmployee forumsHR teams across NorgineExternal parties such as lawyers, recruitment agencies, Mercer Life Sciences CommitteeOutsourced service providers; EAPMinimum Requirements:BA/Academic level requiredSolid, relevant work experience in the HR functionExperience and ability to work in a global matrix organizationThorough knowledge of Australian labour law and legislationExcellent communication skills both verbal and written in EnglishAccurate, with an excellent eye for detailA self-starter, able to work unsupervised and use own initiativeAbility to prioritise and manage their own workloadProactive, flexible working attitudePragmatic, no-nonsense and hands-onTeam playerFlexibility of approach to people and situations, good social skillsOur benefits may vary per location.
