Job title: HR Generalist / HR Specialist

Location: Australia – Brisbane

Responsibilities: Support human resources initiatives throughout the region to ensure a results-oriented culture, strong leadership capability, and a culture of integrity, passion, and entrepreneurialism. Provide guidance to employees and management on employee relations issues such as performance management, employee development, training, succession planning, etc. Coordinate the onboarding of new employees – owner of templates and flows (onboarding, contracts, training, etc.
). Assist management with the performance appraisal program.
Facilitate a talent review discussion and employee development process.
Meet with management and staff on program objectives, procedures, and practices. Process payroll and maintain database and employee records of employee status changes, including new hires, terminations, pay and/or title changes.
Review changes according to policies and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely actions. Ensure compliance with all applicable employment and labour regulations.
Lead on local Employee Relations matters working in partnership with legal counsel; provide advice to business and HR stakeholders on local employment law. Keep up to date with legislation and legal changes in the countries, advising when changes will happen and working with legal counsel as required to assess the impact. Coordinate training needs.
Oversee training, developing, and delivering training workshops as needed. Develop and implement employee communications and programs to ensure employees feel connected to and a part of the company. Seek to create efficiencies and automation across HR Operations to maximize customer satisfaction, enhance productivity, and minimize errors. Consult with HR Director/APAC HR Manager as needed for complex employee relations or employment issues. Collaborate with HR colleagues across all specialisms on the delivery of various local & global HR initiatives to drive business change and increase employee engagement. Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Personal Attributes)

College education, Bachelor degree preferred. Solid experience as HR practitioner, ideally in an international HR operations environment. Strong administrative and organisational skills. Robust, hands-on, resilient, approachable, and diplomatic with the confidence to converse with people at any level.
Persuasiveness and strong communication skills. Powerful motivator. Ability for conceptual thinking. Analytical mindset and high level of ownership.
You are flexible and able to adapt yourself to different cultures. You have a global mindset and are a team player with a 'can do' attitude. Fluent in English.
Knowledge of any additional languages is an asset. Core competences: Stress Management Remains calm under pressure.
