Our client, a leading and highly regarded CBD Law Firm now has an exceptional career opportunity for a motivated and talented Legal Assistant/Administrator wishing to move into HR.
Working closely with the People & Culture Manager, who will train and mentor you, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting all aspects of the firm's HR function.
Key Responsibilities: Train, supervise & mentor junior office admin and reception staff
Develop firm processes and training manuals for admin support and shared services functions
Deliver induction & training for Administration and Support staff
Coordinate Learning & Development programs
Coordinate the CPD program
Assist with coordinating administrative staff
HR administration duties such as coordinating recruitment interviews, drafting letters of offer, creating HR files
Coordinate & assist with Graduate and Seasonal Clerkship recruitment programs, induction and training
General administration support for the HR Manager
Event coordination and ad hoc projects
Skills and Experience: To secure this exceptional opportunity you will have previous experience as a Legal Assistant/Administrator in a law firm with a genuine desire to work in HR. You will also have:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong technical and MS Office skills (experience with Aderant, iManage and/or DocAssist an advantage)
High attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Initiative and the ability to learn quickly
