HHS is proud to partner with government, private, not-for-profit, industry, and community-based organisations to deliver housing and integrated support programs.The Role:This role will be pivotal in shaping HR strategy and workforce planning, whilst delivering operational HR services, solutions, and guidance throughout the employee life cycle.The HR Business Partner will also lead, develop and implement HR initiatives and projects and help drive a culture of excellence that is aligned to the organisation's values.The role will work collaboratively with the Learning and Development BP and HR administrator across talent acquisition, onboarding, induction, remuneration, employee relations, performance management, offboarding, HR policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with Haven Home Safe's policies.Some Key Responsibilities:Provide specialised HR advice to department heads and executive teams, in line with current legislation and best practices.Empower people leaders to optimise team performance through effective performance management and offboarding processes.Lead reviews of people-related policies and procedures.Advocate for change management initiatives and highlight their positive impacts.Ensure the quality of HR documentation at every stage of the employment life cycle.Manage recruitment and onboarding processes.Oversee data governance related to the HR function.Skills and ExperienceTertiary Qualification in HR Management or similar.HR Knowledge with demonstrated current understanding of employment law and other relevant legislation; experience of interpreting and implementing Awards and Enterprise Agreements, and contemporary HR practice.Business Partnering Skills with proven ability to partner successfully with people leaders, delivering across all areas of HR services.Role Specific RequirementsWe are open to candidates working from either the Bendigo or Preston HHS office.You will be required to have a driver licence as mandatory for all HHS staff.Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.All new appointees to HHS will be subject to reference checks, as well as mandatory Safety Screening such as National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
