A Day in the Life Reporting into the Senior HR Manager, you will be joining a diverse and dynamic Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) HR team & partnering with Total Rewards (TR), Talent Management (TM), Employee Labour Relations (ELR), Talent Acquisition (TA) and HR Business Operations (HRBO) teams.
In this highly integral role, you will be responsible for supporting the HR team in driving the most optimal employee experience across our business.
Responsibilities will include administration, operations, data governance, and reporting that will have a positive impact across the ANZ business.
You will also support the team with system technology enhancements, HR Projects, and act as an escalation point from the AskHR Shared Services Centre.
As permanent member of the HR team based in our Sydney office in Macquarie Park, you will require empathy, a flexible mindset, and the ability to cross-collaborate and communicate at all levels.
Your duties will vary depending on the business requirements, so no single day will be the same, giving you many learning and development opportunities.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Providing centralised human resource coordination, administration and support across a variety of processes, programs and Centres of Expertise (CoE's).
This support is inclusive of, but not limited to, reviewing of employment contracts, coordinating visa cases, coordination of HR related training programs, accurate maintenance of employee files & promotion of our HR Benefits through various campaigns and communication channels (Email, Microsoft Viva Engage, Digital Signage etc.)
Collaborating across the HR function to ensure operational standards and procedures are effectively leveraged and HR programs and processes are implemented effectively and efficiently Providing analysis & reporting from Workday (eg.
E.g.
tenure, turnover, employee costs etc) and coordinating internal training services on new AskHR process to facilitate increased efficiencies, automation and/or self-service for various HR processes Identifying internal customer-impacting issues and implementing solutions and process improvements to increase employee and manager experiences Participating in internal and enterprise-wide initiatives and projects related to continuous quality improvement and employee experience initiatives Deliver and/or manage projects assigned such as coordinating our Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) and Great Place to Work submissions As an integral part of the Global HRBO team, acting as an escalation point from AskHR Shared Services requests and questions, providing segmented professional support to employees, managers and executive leaders during moments that matter while applying discretion and confidentiality in all matters Required Knowledge and Experience: Minimum bachelor's degree with a minimum 1.5 years of HR generalist experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and be self-directed and take directions and execute as required Strong skills across the entire MS Office suite of products with the capability to learn new technologies and systems Demonstrated ability to take the initiative, prioritise conflicting projects and effectively manage deadlines High-level attention to detail is a must in this role as a vital component of the role is data analysis and reporting Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits and employment issues A customer-focused approach with exceptional follow-through and accountability Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
