We're seeking an HR Advisor to join our team at Easygo and help deliver some exciting initiatives as part of our HR strategy. You will provide employee relations advice, answer queries and maintain accurate records. You will form part of a wider People & Culture team, contributing to supporting our growing workforce of over 400 employees in Melbourne.
Your role with us Your role as our HR Advisor will be to act as a main point of contact to frontline management for all HR issues, you will provide advisory and consulting services to your stakeholders. This role requires a proactive individual who can adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with the HR Business Partners in managing stakeholders, improving our processes, and delivering projects. No day will be the same, as you could be sending our employee contracts, organising employee visas, or assisting with our bi-annual employee surveys. This is an exciting role that will allow you to grow and develop as an HR Advisor in a fast-paced business. You will report into our Senior HR Business Partner and will work closely with other People & Culture team members, and employees across the organisation.
What you will do:Employee Relations: Provide HR advice and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practiceAssist with performance management proceduresSupport the team in implementing HR initiatives and projectsSupport employee engagement initiatives and assist in organising company events and activitiesHelp manage the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employeesAssist in conducting employee surveys and compiling feedback for analysisAssist in addressing employee queries and resolving routine HR issuesGeneral Support: Review and improve current processes & procedures, with a view to increase efficiencyMaintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentialityAssist the HR Administrator with Payroll queries as requiredPrepare HR documents such as employment contracts and onboarding materialsProvide general administrative support to the HR teamAssist with ad hoc HR projects and tasks as neededWork alongside the HR Administrator & Workplace Experience team to support with eventsOwn Diversity, Equity & Inclusion events throughout the yearCompliance and Reporting: Manage the eligibility to work processesEnsure compliance with HR policies and proceduresAssist in preparing HR reports and maintaining HR metricsHelp with compliance-related tasks, including monitoring and updating HR policies in line with current legislationWhat you will bring: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related fieldThree year's experience in Human ResourcesOne year's experience in a role with advisory-level responsibilitiesKnowledge of visa and eligibility to work processes and proceduresExperience with payroll reporting and practicesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, creating positive and respectful interactionsStrong organisational and time-management skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationFlexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesProactive, with the ability to anticipate and respond to HR-related issues and challengesCollaborative, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with stakeholdersResilient, with the ability to work effectively under pressureSome of the perks of working for us:EAP access for you and your familyAccess to over 9,000 courses across our Learning and Development PlatformTwo full-time barista's who will make your daily coffee, tea or fresh juice!Daily catered breakfastMassage Wednesdays - we get professionals to do this!Team lunches and happy hour in the office from 4pm on FridaysFun office environment with pool tables, table tennis and all your favourite gaming consolesHelp yourself drinks fridges and snack shelves"We are a 2024 Circle Back Initiative Employer – we commit to respond to every applicant"
