HR Advisor role in mining, driving change, ER/IR case management, talent initiatives, and leading HR projects. 3+ years' experience required.
10th December, 2024We are seeking a skilled HR Advisor to join our client, a Tier 1 mining company, on an initial 12 month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact while advancing your HR expertise in a professional and high-achieving environment.About the RoleAs a HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Iron Ore leadership team and aligning operational and transformational objectives. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will manage high-impact workloads, provide expert advice, and lead key projects.Key responsibilities include: Collaborating with stakeholders to drive awareness and understanding of HR models and practices.Providing guidance on employee relations and case management, including coaching managers.Managing remuneration reviews, talent initiatives, and complex change programs.Leading internal projects focused on continuous improvement and standardization.Using HR systems such as Workday to analyse data and provide actionable insights.Supporting the implementation of organizational change and structure reviews.About YouYou should be able to demonstrate:A minimum of 3 years' experience in a HR Advisor role, ideally within the mining or resources industry.Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline.Strong knowledge of employee relations (ER), industrial relations (IR) law, and case management.Proven experience managing complex stakeholder relationships and coaching business leaders.Demonstrated ability to execute change programs and assess organizational complexities.Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets to provide insights.Experience with HR systems such as Workday, SAP and reporting tools.This role requires all applicants to be based in Perth and hold full working rights.
