About The Role We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to provide advice, administrative coordination and operational support to the project and wider HR team at our project in the Bowen Basin - the Olive Downs Complex.
This is a site based role with the flexibility to be either FIFO from Brisbane, Drive in Drive Out or Live Locally.
Pembroke Resource's Olive Downs Complex is a greenfield project located 40 kilometres south-east of Moranbah which commenced mining operations in mid-2023.
Thiess has been awarded a five-year contract to deliver full service mining operations, including mine planning overburden removal, drill and blast, load and haul (Autonomous), water management and rehabilitation as well as construction of the mine infrastructure.
Working a site based, 5/2, 4/3 roster and reporting to the project HR Manager, your duties will include:
Support the delivery of all aspects of the HR plan for the projectPartner with key stakeholder groups to manage employee absenteeism, performance and misconduct mattersProvide advice and support on policies and procedures, systems, reporting, recruitment, industrial relations, disputes and dismissalsBe involved in initiatives to enhance workplace culture and brandingSupport the site diversity and inclusion initiativesAbout You This role is for someone who has the skills to influence at all levels, and the ability to promote and uphold HR initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have:
