This is a 12-month parental leave contract role, and the successful applicant will be based at Randwick Racecourse and will need to travel to other venues as required.
DAY TO DAY, THE ROLE WILL : Advisory: Deliver high-quality advice and support to leaders in performance management, generalist HR, benefits, and industrial relations.Industrial Relations: Provide advice and support the Senior Manager, Human Resources on Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards interpretation.Enterprise Agreement Negotiation: Support the Senior Manager, Human Resources with EBA negotiations and processes.Project & Operational Support: Support the HR team in managing the provision of a range of operational human resource activities and implementation of HR initiatives.People cycle: Manage the people cycle processes with the support of the HR team, including annual performance reviews, engagement survey workshops, talent & succession plans.Recruitment: Support all recruitment processes, including providing advice on the most appropriate solution to resourcing needs.Learning & Development: Support in driving learning and development to the team members within the business.Employee Relations: Provide coaching and HR advice to people managers. Support line managers / Operations managers with the casual workforce / performance management / disciplinary issues / grievances.HR Reporting & Analytics: Manage the production of HR reporting metrics which may include HR Dashboards, Remuneration Data, WGEA and Compliance reporting.Reward & Recognition: Manage the ATC employee rewards program.Performance Management: Support and coach managers with the performance management review process.THE RIGHT FIT To be successful in the role, the right fit will possess: Ideally 2 - 3 years' experience in an HR Advisor or Coordinator position.Strong drive, motivation, creativity & ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.A proactive and energetic style with outstanding communication skills.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills & skills across the Microsoft suite.Excellent presentation & communication skills.Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management / Business and / or other related professional discipline (or equivalent demonstrated experience).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience and / or exposure to racing, sport and or hospitality / tourism industries is desirable.If you believe you are the right fit and demonstrate our values, come and join us.
