About the role: Reporting to the HR Manager – Engagement, the HR Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of a range of HR services, administration, compliance, procedural and operational tasks in order to support the achievement of business unit and program objectives across the organisation.
The position requires a proactive, professional, and responsible individual who demonstrates attention to detail and is able to manage competing priorities.
The HR Coordinator is also responsible for overseeing employee compliance to ensure our obligations of being a child safe organisation are met in order to protect the best interests of the vulnerable children, young people and families with which we work.
This is a Fixed Term, 1 EFT until 01/12/25 opportunity based in South Melbourne, VIC within our Human Resources Program.
The position reports to the HR Manager - Engagement. Key Selection Criteria: Experience in Human Resources with a demonstrated application of contemporary HR procedures and practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Well-developed organisational and administrative skills including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage own workload.Demonstrated ability to effectively deal with sensitive issues whilst maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems.Strong computer and IT skills, especially with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using cloud-based computer software.Please address the full Key Selection Criteria outlined in the PD as part of your application.
You must have a: Valid and current Driver's Licence;Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);Valid Employee Working with Children Check;Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check (for risk assessed / client facing roles).
