Based in offices across the state and working across the Western Melbourne Housing Advice and Assistance Team, the role undertakes a range of tasks relating to the provision of housing advice and assistance that may include: • providing support and information on services • identifying and assessing Victorians' housing needs and their eligibility for services • providing assistance and support to clients in applying for social housing or bond loans. ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE Assess client's needs and provide comprehensive advice on housing options from a range of established policy, procedures and standards. Make appropriate referrals to internal or external support service providers in order to assist clients with their short-term housing needs.
