Contribute to a world without housing povertyFixed term Full Time Position based in KalgoorlieCompetitive salary + super + salary packaging + other benefitsAbout UsAboriginal Community Housing Limited (ACHL), a national Aboriginal community housing organisation that provides culturally appropriate property and tenancy management services across Australia.We are seeking individuals who are motivated and passionate about working with Aboriginal communities and tenants, who share ACHL Values as a leading provider of Aboriginal housing and community development across Australia, driving relationships with key stakeholders and supporting ACHL's Vision and Mission.The RoleA career in community housing is extremely rewarding and now you too can contribute to positive social impact and a world without housing poverty.This role will see you delivering high quality tenancy and property management for ACHL.This role involves:Undertaking property inspectionsArrears managementCoordinating maintenance and monitoring progress and quality of workCompleting property condition reportsAllocating and occupying tenantsCoordinating lease and rent reviewsCarrying out vacated inspectionsWorking with Community Councils and representativesThis role is based in Kalgoorlie and fixed term until October 2025.About YouTo be successful for this role, you will have a genuine passion for wanting to support vulnerable people in our community.Demonstrated experience in providing client focused tenancy management services.An understanding or willingness to learn about the Residential Tenancies Act.Relevant skills and experience in working sensitively with a diverse customer group with complex needs, including those who are in housing crisis.Confidence in liaising with various stakeholders including vulnerable people.Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a caring and empathetic nature.Previous experience working on MS Office programs.Ability to compose professional correspondence via email to internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work as a team member and independently.Aboriginal cultural awareness and competency.Previous experience working in the social/community housing industry.Please note that a satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a Working with Children Check (WWCC).As an equal opportunity employer, ACHL works closely with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
