We are currently seeking a welcoming and organised Administration Officer to provide support to the Housing Manager at Bethanie Dalyellup Community Housing. Permanent part-time position working 3 days per week Work pattern (days worked) will be agreed with the successful candidate

About the role

The role of Housing Administrator offers diversity in daily tasks so are looking for a well-rounded individual with a passion for customer service and a 'can do' attitude. Duties will include: Assist with managing facilities e.g. common areas – notice board, washing machine and tokens; utility bills and accounts). Ensure all maintenance items are entered into the system accurately, prioritised appropriately and completed on time. Communication to tenants to keep them updated of scheduled maintenance, changes or reminders, and/or any other relevant information. Ensure all information communicated is accurate and timely. Assist in preparing documentation and information for new tenants for contracts, bond process, tenant record keeping. Ensure all information collected is filed and entered in the appropriate systems. Update and prepare welcome packs and lease documentation for new tenants, including security fobs, keys and procedures and processes on site.

About you

Demonstrated experience within a busy administrative position High level of attention to detail, with the ability to learn new processes and software quickly Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to understand the perspective of others and listen with empathy Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one)
