St Luke's Care is a premium health provider in Pott's Point Sydney that provides 5 star service to both aged care residents and hospital patients.
Role: This position is responsible for leading the Housekeeping business unit at St Luke's Care. The role is responsible for liaising with managers throughout St. Luke`s to ensure quality cleaning, laundry, pest and waste management services are delivered.
Key Areas of Responsibilities: Develop, train, and manage staff within the housekeeping function including recruitment and performance management of staffEnsure compliance with St Luke's Care policies and procedures including reporting of matters pertaining to Infection Control, Fire Safety, Incidents/Accidents and Work Health and Safety (WHS)Responsible for compiling & managing the required roster needs such as replacing staff when required and rostering additional staff during peak periods to ensure adequate staffing levels on a daily basisEnsure compliance with relevant legislative obligationsLead and mentor a team so they understand the standard of a 5 star business.Ongoing training of staff regarding the correct use of equipment and correct techniques required to perform housekeeping duties in a safe, effective and professional mannerBeing present throughout the business gaining internal and external stakeholder feedbackHandle customer feedback in a positive and timely mannerInventory and stock controlOrganises and prioritises well under pressureOther tasks, consistent with the position, as required by the Director, Hospital and Clinic, or other senior managers at St Luke's.Previous experience in Hospital and/or Aged Care Facilities Cleaning Practices and Infection Control techniques as per Commonwealth Aged Care Standards and NSW Health GuidelinesProven experience in correct cleaning techniquesStrong computer and administration skillsProven experience in customer relations and complaints handlingPast experience in infection control policies and procedures.We offer: Competitive salary packageSalary Packaging (up to $15,900 per FBT year)Friendly work environmentHow to Apply Please submit your application by including an up-to-date resume and a cover letter addressing how you meet the criteria to ******
