THE VENUE Quality Suites Pioneer Sands is ideally located on the northern side of Wollongong and only 60 minutes' drive south of Sydney Airport.
Ideal for corporate guests, large or small groups, family holidays, meetings, and conference or events guests, the apartment accommodation suits all needs.
The hotel features 47 apartments, pool, gym, conference facilities, and café.
THE ROLE We are seeking a passionate Hotel Manager to motivate and drive the team at Quality Suites Pioneer Sands, demonstrating excellence in leadership and vision.
This is a great opportunity for an upcoming leader to step into an exciting new role!
You will have full accountability of the hotel, reporting to the Group General Manager.
The Hotel Manager will have a strong background in all operational outlets of a hotel, including rooms division, food and beverage, revenue management, and a strong financial acumen, including budget management, forecasting, and P&L.
Effective leadership and strategic planning is crucial in maximizing guest satisfaction while exceeding financial performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the team to deliver a premium customer experience, maintaining a level of service and quality that consistently exceeds the expectations of our guests.Manage all financial aspects of the business unit including annual budgeting, cost control, reporting, and achievement of KPI's.Find opportunities to drive revenue through sales and effective rate strategies.Regular inspection of rooms, building interior and exterior to ensure the hotel is maintained to its highest quality.Build a highly engaged and driven culture with a focus on engagement, performance identification, development, and retention of high potential team members.Manage staffing levels and work schedules to achieve financial and service quality targets.Monitor and evaluate guest comments and create change based on feedback.Continuous improvement with regards to product and service.ABOUT YOU: You are driven to succeed and are passionate about what you do.You're savvy, like to have fun, have lots of energy, and can multi-task.You have previous experience in a similar role.Have a solid background in hotel/hospitality management including rooms division and food & beverage.You strive to exceed customer expectations and are always ready to delight and amaze our guests.You're hands-on, are an exceptional leader with the ability to nurture, develop, and bring out the best in your team.You have high-level written and verbal communication skills.Thorough knowledge of WHS legislation and hazard identification.Ability to influence and mentor a diverse team and set targets that are KPI driven.BENEFITS: Brand Partner discounts.Internal training and development opportunities and online training platform.External training opportunities.Career development opportunities within Oscars Group across 40 amazing venues.Employee Assistance Program.Mentoring from a strong team of hospitality professionals.Reward and recognition programs.Parking onsite and dedicated office space. #J-18808-Ljbffr
