This role would ideally suit a person keen to relocate to South Australia or an Executive Assistant Manager seeking their next challenge.A professional business leader is required to oversee the daily operational demands in the absence of the Area General Manager. As Hotel Manager, you are expected to have practical hard skills, which include marketing and social media fundamentals, front of house exposure, bookkeeping, revenue management, food/beverage, and event management capabilities.The successful applicant comes equipped with exceptional communication skills to clearly and strategically lead our diverse team, be of an analytical, results-driven mindset, to meet and exceed our strategic operational goals.Core requirements of your roleBe a true people person, capable of fostering genuine guest experiences with a warm welcome.Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and quality across all properties.Monitor and improve guest satisfaction levels through effective management and problem-solving.Ensure the execution of exemplary customer service that drives guest satisfaction and loyalty.Effective planning, management, and organisation of operations to deliver the best possible experience to guests.Timely and effectively troubleshoot any issues arising in Hotel operations.Monitor and motivate staff with constructive communication in a positive work environment.In conjunction with departmental managers, evaluate staff performance and implement annual KPIs.Plan, implement and manage overall daily operations under the instruction of the Area General Manager.Drive forward sales strategies and oversee expenditure by collaborating with the sales and marketing director.Manage the hotel's online presence and generate an online buzz through special offers and promotions.Lead on sustainability programs in conjunction with the engineering team.Oversee/supervise maintenance and in-house refurbishments and conduct risk assessments on revenue and guest experience.Manage budgets and control expenditure.Track hotel revenue and optimise profit.In collaboration with the delegated HOD, analyse sales figures, reports, and the different market segments and channels.About youThe successful candidate should have 3+ years' proven experience as a Hotel Manager or similar role in a 5-star hotel and hold a Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, or similar.Proven ability to motivate and manage staff.Advanced working knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint.Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.Ability to stay calm under pressure situations.Exceptional time management skills and be culturally aware.Full working rights in Australia.Culture and BenefitsA highly competitive salary.Discounted meals and beverages.Supplied meals during allocated shifts.Employee Assistance Program.Complimentary onsite dry cleaning.Complimentary onsite car parking.This is a full-time placement, operationally driven hours with occasional evening and weekend work.How to ApplyIf you have the experience, we'll give you the opportunity.
