Hotel, Events, & Marketing Graduate/TraineeThis role is an ideal launchpad for an ambitious and motivated graduate looking to take the first steps in their careers and work hard to climb the ladder.
We're looking to invest in someone for the long term who is excited at the prospect of exposure to a multitude of roles and functions across a group of hospitality and tourism businesses.
This is a wide and varied role, with no two days the same.
You'll gain training and exposure to every department and function of a hotel, event and function centre, cafe, restaurant, and golf operation, plus head office functions (see key responsibilities for more info).

Our Head Chef, Daniel, learned his trade in Michelin-starred and 3-Rosette restaurants, which means he's primed to deliver everything from bespoke wedding banquets to our high-end take on informal food in our cafe and restaurant.

Key Responsibilities Hotel: assist guest services with reception duties, reservation management, revenue management, housekeeping and maintenance.Events and functions: assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of events and functions.Cafe and restaurant operations: assist in a variety of food and beverage-related roles, both front and back of house.Golf operations: assist clubhouse supervision, reservation management, event coordination, golf course maintenance and operations.Group:Marketing: assist the group's Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with brand development, marketing campaign design and management, social media management and graphic design.Product development: assist the group CEO and CMO with the enhancement of existing products and services and identifying and developing new and complementary products and services.Project management: assist the group's Portfolio Director with the management of a wide and varied portfolio of projects and initiatives using Agile, PRINCE2 and other leading methodologies.Quality management: assist all business areas with the maintenance of policies, processes and procedures.Recruitment and HR: help coordinate an external team of specialists to assist all business areas with recruitment and HR.Business administration and Procurement: assist the group's administration function with all business administration and purchasing.Technology: assist the group's CTO with enhancing technology use to continuously improve operational efficiency.Qualifications Graduate of degree in any of the following: Hospitality & Tourism, Hotel Management, Events & Marketing, or similar.Tech savvy, self-reliant, and resourceful, with the natural ability to learn and embrace new computer systems and solve problems by researching solutions.Strong comprehension of written materials and ability to create and follow complex instructions.The ability to communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management at all levels.Ability to deal with difficult people, handle complaints, and resolve disputes in the best interests of both the guest and the resort.Ability to think independently and objectively analyse complex situations and problems, gather facts and consult data before making decisions.Planned, organised, and disciplined, committed to consistent, repeatable and quality outcomes.What We Offer Competitive salary with a performance bonus that'll make your wallet do a happy dance.The chance to learn your trade and learn about the inner workings of a hotel, event and function centre, restaurant, cafe, and golf operation and their supporting group functions.The chance to make your mark on a Swan Valley institution.An inspiring high-performance sports team culture where everyone pushes each other to improve.Training and development opportunities.Discounts at the resort.Employee referral schemes to reward any successful hires endorsed by staff.To Apply To be considered for this exciting opportunity, please attach your CV and a cover letter that showcases your charisma, creativity, and passion for hospitality.
