Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, resort shop and a full service Day Spa and Hair Salon, Chahoya.Our Award Winning Resort is currently looking for a suitably experienced Duty Manager to join our Front Office team on a full time, ongoing basis.
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, this hands on position will be responsible for assisting in the daily management of the staff and resources across the Front Office department, as well as ensuring the highest possible standards of service.You will be responsible for:Ensuring service standards of all Front Office staff is professional, helpful and in line with the Resort's vision and goals at all timesEnsuring the highest possible standards in room inventory management and salesThe coordination and supervision of all guest arrivals and departuresControl and analyse departmental costs on an ongoing basis to ensure performance against budgetIn conjunction with the Front Office Manager provide training and mentoring of department staffDealing with guest complaints and issues and ensuring a prompt resolutionPerforming Night Audit duties when requiredManaging the department in the absence of the Front Office ManagerWorking a range of shifts, including afternoons and eveningsOur ideal candidate will have:Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.Front Office Supervisory experience within a 4 or 5 star hotel or resort (essential)Excellent organisational, time management and computer literacy skillsThe ability to deal with guest issues in a timely, positive and professional mannerStrong attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skillsA high standard of personal presentationCurrent manual driver's licenseThe willingness to work 24 hour rotational shifts.
