Job Type: Permanent position | Full time positionJob DescriptionAbout us: Wake Up! Byron (under Millett Group) is looking for a full-time dedicated and highly motivated manager team with a strong recorded background in management, compliance, maintenance, and booking systems. The primary objective of this position is to organize and coordinate the day-to-day operations providing a range of accommodation and ensuring guests' needs, wants, and comfort are satisfied during their stay.Requirements:Managing and overseeing all aspects of Wake Up ByronMaintaining the online reservation system and ensuring the accuracy of informationEnsuring that guest satisfaction is the prime focus and responding to and implementing feedbackActive promotion and marketing strategy to promote the business service and amenitiesMaintaining effective supplier and tour operator relationshipsUpholding high standards and quality in all aspects of the businessUnderstanding of all areas of a full-service facilityEnsuring compliance with all regulatory obligations including Responsible Service of Alcohol and Occupational Health & SafetyTraining and development of staffPreparing costed proposals for potential clients seeking group bookings and eventsMaintaining and coordinating the implementation of daily, weekly, and monthly hostel tasks including cashing up, recycling, and waste disposalBeing periodically 'on call' to cover emergency out-of-hours call outsEnsuring effective and efficient running of the hostel and that all systems, facilities, and procedures are in place to comply with legislation and lease provisions, including health and safety requirements and maintenanceOverseeing the ordering of supplies; managing supplier relationships, ensuring good value for money in accordance with financial proceduresEssential requirements:Relevant DiplomaMinimum 2 years' relevant work experienceExcellent communication skills including negotiation, problem solving, conflict resolution, assessment, and the ability to quickly create rapportProfessionally presented with a warm and empathetic personalityAbility to work well in a team but also take ownership of tasksStrong focus on customer service, with the ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environmentExcellent administration skills and attention to detailAbility to plan, organize, and coordinate, working to tight deadlines using own initiativeWe are offering: Being part of our team you will be able to work in a great environment, with a salary base of $70,000 - $80,000 + Super.
