In this crucial position, you'll oversee the well-being of our customers, diligently monitoring for any signs of problematic gambling behaviour or alcohol-related issues. Cultivating strong relationships with both customers and colleagues, you'll be instrumental in fostering a safe and responsible gaming environment. Join us in this vital mission of care and accountability.What does the role look like?Our Host Responsibility Coordinators play a key role in looking after our customers' safety and ensuring business compliance by supporting the Host Responsibility programme effectively. You'll spend your workdays looking out for our customers by working through activities and processes to minimise gambling and alcohol-related harm. You'll be required to document thoroughly and clearly any interactions held. Exceptional communication skills are essential, and you'll need to be comfortable and competent in interpreting data using a range of computer systems.If successful, you will be responsible for:Monitoring all customers for signs of problematic gambling behaviour and/or alcohol-related issuesBuilding professional relationships with customers, staff, and external services as requiredNegotiating realistic outcomes to support people to play within their meansProviding support to staff in the identification and reporting of gambling-related harmReporting to senior staff and regulators as needed on Host Responsibility activitiesWhat you will look like?You must be able to work autonomously and have the availability to work a 24x7 rotating roster. Outstanding negotiation, written, and communication skills are essential to the role, and key to your success will be a genuine desire to help people change for the better. A warm, empathetic, and approachable personality, along with a high level of integrity and confidentiality, are equally important. If you are fluent in a second language, this would be an advantage. Previous experience in the gaming industry, welfare, or community service environments will be highly regarded but is not essential.
