Bordertown Roadhouse is a fuel station with convenience store and serves hot food and authentic Indian curries.
Alongside is a fully operational dine-in restaurant, Bordertown Café and Restaurant.
Position Overview: The client is seeking a highly motivated full-time, permanent Hospitality Worker to support the roadhouse team.
The ideal candidate must be able to provide exceptional customer service with a positive and energetic attitude.
As a Hospitality Worker, you will be responsible for customer service and kitchen tasks, which include food preparation, stock control, cash handling, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene, loss prevention, and general housekeeping.
The successful candidate should be a team player with a proactive attitude, flexible in following various work instructions, and consistently focused on safety and service excellence.
Minimum Requirements : AQF Certificate II or III in the relevant field and 2+ years' experience in a similar role Key Responsibilities: Taking reservations, greeting and seating guests, and presenting them with menus and Beverage lists Setting and arranging tables Taking food and beverage orders Providing excellent food service to customers Assisting in food preparation and presentation including making of Coffees/Teas, Cooking takeaway food, stock replenishment, cleaning and other general duties Clearing tables and returning dishes, glasses and cutlery to kitchen Operating EFTPOS and cash registers Stacking and displaying goods for sale Open and close procedures Unload and stock freight Maintain stock levels Preparing displays and presenting stock, including specials Sell products and services in the context of the workplace, i.e.
