We are on the hunt for a Hose Shop Technician to join our award-winning team in Mackay. This is a permanent full-time role with lifestyle roster or Monday – Friday positions available.
As a Hose Shop Technician, you will:
Utilise your highly developed hose technician skills to coordinate and liaise with customers to ensure their requirements are met for all Hydraulic hose and parts supply.Research the correct and latest parts books, IRM's and Hose Assembly consist listing for procedures and specifications to ensure correct assembly detail.Take all reasonable steps to ensure that all assigned tasks are free of faulty workmanship, assuring quality in the finished product.Decide and evaluate the reusability of all hydraulic fittings.Maintain stock and carry out quarterly stocktakes or as required.Manufacture and assemble fluid hoses as required, to Cat specifications standards.Process customer requests and purchase orders for immediate supply for breakdown and planned work.Ensure Contamination Control procedures are followed and adhered to Cat Standards.Ensure all paperwork is handled as per the established on-site procedure and all orders are promptly invoiced.Pro-actively seek and maintain collaborative working relationships with customers and peers to deliver results.Submit accurate timecards, parts request sheets, parts quotes as required.Be available to work overtime where necessary.Why Hastings Deering? Trade qualifications in a technical or mechanical field building hoses (Highly desirable).Minimum two years' experience in the warehouse (essential).A highly conscientious attitude and approach to deliver reliable and consistent results.A strong commitment to customer service.The ability to read hydraulic schematics (desirable).Proven experience working in a similar environment.Previous experience using systems CAT WEBSIS 2.0 and Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar (desirable).Passion, industriousness, and due diligence for the CAT brand.Physical fitness to pass a Pre-Employment Medical + D&A Screening.To Apply: Hit the 'Apply Now' button.
