We provide Accounting & Business Advisory, Financial Planning and Finance, Technology services through Orlo One, and a range of consulting services for growing business, through Blue Jam. Our vision is to be the pre-eminent integrated services firm for family businesses and professionals in our areas of industry specialisation, which include Agribusiness, Food, Wine & Hospitality, Family Business, Construction and Healthcare providers.
We are seeking a Finance & Payroll Officer to join our dynamic Corporate Services Team, based in Adelaide. As a valued team member, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our business operations by providing high-quality financial services across our professional service lines.
About the Role: In this diverse and engaging role, you will:
Coordinate client invoicing, debtor processes, accounts payable, and payroll with precision. Process financial transactions, including invoicing, bank reconciliations, and compliance reporting. Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency across the team. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations. Uphold company policies and contribute to a culture of trust, innovation, and excellence. What We're Looking For: To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
3+ years of experience in finance, bookkeeping, or payroll within a medium to large organization. Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset. Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (Xero preferred). Strong communication skills and a collaborative work ethic. Experience with HRIS Systems (e.g. Definitiv) and managing employee payroll queries is desirable. Why Join Hood Sweeney?
