DescriptionRight at Home Sydney Parramatta are seeking qualified, reliable, and passionate Personal Care Workers to join our team in the Sydney Parramatta Region spanning across from Parramatta to Bonnyrigg. You will need to be friendly, positive, and determined to make a difference. You can demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy, and treating others with dignity and respect. You'll be a natural relationship builder, honest, helpful, and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.
We are offering casual roles with a view to permanent part-time for suitable candidates.
Responsibilities will include: Working within a person-centered, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each clientAssisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic dutiesAssisting clients with daily errands, companionship, and supportProviding support with social and recreational activitiesPreparing food, feeding clients, and assisting clients with medicationsObserve, care, and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the clientResponding to emergency situationsWorking weekend and overnight shifts as rosteredQualificationsCertificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability) or equivalent (Required)Current National Police Check (Required)Working With Children Check (Optional)Current First Aid & CPR certificates (Required)Current unrestricted driver's licence and your own well-maintained carPreferred SkillsExperience working with aged and persons with a disability
