Responsibilities will include: Working within a person-centered, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each clientAssisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic dutiesAssisting clients with daily errands, companionship, and supportProviding support with social and recreational activitiesPreparing food, feeding clients, and assisting clients with medicationsObserving, caring for, and reporting any changes in the health and wellbeing of the clientResponding to emergency situationsWorking weekend and overnight shifts as rosteredQualificationsCertificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability) or equivalent (Required)Current National Police Check (Required)Working With Children Check (Optional)Current First Aid & CPR certificates (Required)Current unrestricted driver's licence and your own well-maintained carPreferred SkillsExperience working with aged individuals and persons with disabilities
