About the role: Join our team in Boroondara City. Uniting Agewell Burwood East Home Care supports ageing clients to enjoy a safe and independent life in their own homes for as long as they can. Our caring team provides a wide range of ageing support and services across Boroondara City, with Part-Time employment opportunities available, ranging from Monday-Friday during daytime hours. You will be supporting clients in Camberwell, Glen Iris, Hawthorn, Canterbury, Kew, Surrey Hills and surrounding communities.

Key Responsibilities: Travel between client's homesSupporting clients with domestic tasks such as meal preparation and household choresProviding social support and transportation services as requiredProviding personal care, including showering, grooming, and mobility assistanceEnsure that client's rights, cultural, spiritual and other individual needs are incorporated in all aspects of care and daily livingWork within a multidisciplinary team, provide effective support to clients, recognise changes in clients' conditions and escalate observations and concerns in accordance with Uniting AgeWell processesPromote and participate in quality activities, and provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with clients, their relatives and friendsSupport colleagues by sharing knowledge and expertiseMust have your own car (registered in your own name), valid insurance and a current Victorian driver's licenceAbout you: You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our ageing clients, enhancing their self-esteem and empowering them to make choices.
