The life of a Home Care Employee is varied and offers flexible work hours. We have roles available for both Home Care Employee (Qualified) and (Unqualified) candidates. Key ResponsibilitiesPersonal Care: Assist with daily tasks such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and hygiene to ensure clients' comfort, dignity, and well-being. (Cert III in Individual Support required)Household Assistance: Support clients with cleaning, meal preparation, and general household tasks to maintain a safe and tidy living environment.Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social activities, ensuring they can access essential services and maintain their independence.Social Engagement: Foster social interaction and provide companionship, offering emotional support to improve clients' quality of life and overall well-being.Essential SkillsEffective communication skillsDemonstrate an empathic and caring approachAbility to work unsupervised and as part of a teamAccess to own fully maintained and insured vehicleAbility to plan and organise timely completion of tasks.Competent to use a smartphone and/or tablet or willingness to learnPhysical fitness including ability to undertake manual handling, carrying, standing and sitting for long periods of timeQualificationsQualified Home Care Employee - Certificate III Individual Support or equivalentDomestic Assistant roles available for those currently studying, or those who are passionate about supporting the elderly with their domestic household duties.Current First Aid Certificate and CPR or willingness to obtainCurrent unrestricted Australian Driver's LicenseWhat's in it for You?
