About the opportunity:
Your primary objective in this important role will be to support the delivery of the roadmap for the development, implementation and support of BI solutions in alignment with the Holcim ANZ organisation's overall strategy and vision.
You will be a SME for Anaplan finance applications, leading the development and delivery of key projects aligned with the business strategy and focusing on:
Development of Scalable flexible architecture.
Supporting integration, storage, processing and analysis of large data sets.
Implementation success - ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
You will also lead the strategic direction and ownership of projects to support the business functional plan and oversee all Planning and BI related activities for the team to include:
Overseeing the design, development and maintenance of the infrastructure supporting the planning and analytics tools, such as the data warehouse, data lakes, dashboards and analytics platforms.
Leading project management activities to ensure delivery against functional plans including management of stakeholder expectations and prioritisation of future work.
Developing training programs for improving departmental heads' understanding of the use of data, which improves decision-making across the business.
Additional accountabilities will include leading and collaborating with various stakeholder groups across the organisation such as IT, operations, sustainability and finance to understand requirements, evaluate existing systems and design scalable and reliable solutions.
About you:
Certified Anaplan Solutions Architect or Certified Master Anaplanner qualification.
Credible experience in Solutions Development.
Solid experience in integrating Anaplan and Qlik with other systems (SAP ECC, AWS data lake, Anaplan).
Solid knowledge of Postgres SQL and database platforms.
Proficient with developing and maintaining APIs.
Ability to fix bugs and deliver enhancements.
Experience with front-end web development frameworks is preferred.
Experience with ERP environments including SAP ECC6 and processes is preferred.
Ability to design and implement external systems as integration partners.
Ability to develop well-designed, testable, and efficient solutions.
High attention to detail while keeping overview of larger picture.
Ability to prioritise work and work autonomously.
Aptitude for working within a very busy, dynamic working environment, with the ability to manage multiple activities at any one time.
An ability to maintain a professional attitude at all times, demonstrating respect and courtesy when dealing with customers, colleagues and suppliers.
Ability to communicate clearly and liaise effectively at all levels (both internally & externally) ensuring communication is clear, concise, timely and relevant to the audience.
