About the roleThe Histology In-Vitro Team (HIT) is a key capability pillar within the Bionics Institute.
This pillar aims to provide histological and in vitro support and data analysis and ensures the provision of outstanding technical services and timely staff and student training for all histological processing and analytical requirements.
Reporting to the Team Leader – HIT, the Histology Technician will support the Institute's strategic growth by providing support and technical expertise within the Histology and In-Vitro Team.
Responsibilities include:
Collection, preparation, and analysis of histological and in vitro data.Providing day-to-day technical support for laboratory-based duties.While duties are typically performed during normal work hours (Monday to Friday), in emergency situations there may be a requirement to attend at short notice during the weekend.
