About the role  The position will be responsible for all aspects of histology tasks including:
Embedding, microtomy and staining and the establishment of recently developed techniques.Working with limited supervision following standard routines, methods and procedures in response to standardised instructions or requestsWorking productively as part of a team and cooperating with those in the work environment.
 About you  To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
Have a minimum 12 months experience in routine Histology in a laboratory environment,
Be available Monday to Friday 4am-12pm
About the role: Possess suitable tertiary qualifications in Science, e.g. Bachelor of Science (applicable for a Scientific Officer position) or Associated Diploma (applicable for a Technical Officer position) Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels of the organisation.A demonstrated ability to work as part of a busy team and unsupervised when required.Possess a working knowledge of quality assurance systems and scientific instrumentation/equipmentDemonstrate an understanding of and commitment to WH&S and Quality ControlBe fully vaccinated against COVID-19 Possess the right to work in Australia.
