About the role We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Hire Desk Manager to join our Select Plant Australia team. You are responsible for managing a large team to ensure effective productivity and smooth operations of the Hire Desk in each region working from our Malaga office.
Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily hire desk operations, implement and monitor processes, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards. Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations of the Hire Desk. Collaborate with the Region Manager to align Hire Desk operations with strategic goals. Liaise with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the availability of equipment and services. About You Proven experience in managing operational processes within the plant hire or similar industry. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a large team, ensuring productivity and adherence to operational standards. Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships. Understanding of financial processes related to hire contracts, invoicing, and budget management. Ability to inspire and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
