About the role
Select Plant Australia operates as part of the Laing O'Rourke Group and has one of the industry's largest and most diverse ranges of equipment, accommodation and tools to deliver on every type of construction project.
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Hire Controller to join our Select Plant Australia team.
You will support our customers with their plant and equipment hire needs to enable the build of big and exciting construction projects, working from our Malaga office.
Key Responsibilities

Building and maintaining a strong and lasting relationship with our customers, fostering strong working partnerships to enable repeat business.
End to end process for the hire contract and understanding customer requirements and converting opportunities in a timely manner to ensure a seamless experience.
Coordinate the hiring of plant on some of Laing O'Rourke's major high profile projects and for external customers.
Assisting customers in selecting appropriate plant hire solutions based on their needs.
Organize the scheduling and availability of plant hire, by working in close collaboration with customers, supply chain, your team and the wider Select business to ensure timely delivery and collection of plant hire.
Continuously build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and liaising with clients in a professionally and timely manner, responding to inquiries via email, phone or in-person.
Ensuring a high degree of accuracy and compliance is achieved for each hire agreement, by maintaining accurate records of hire transactions and customer information.

About You

Previous experience working in similar roles in the Plant and Equipment Hire industry is desirable.
Experience within Procurement/Purchasing & Office Administration will be highly regarded.
Desire to develop and advance your career within the Plant and Equipment Hire industry.
Self-organised, have attention for details and motivation to succeed and complete work to deadlines.
Driven to work in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise workload.
Experience with Microsoft Office packages, in particular Excel and excellent data entry skills.
