Are you a relationship-building superstar with a knack for supplier negotiations? Join Hill Street as our new Supplier Relations Manager and play a pivotal role in fostering strong partnerships, streamlining processes, and delivering exceptional results!
The Category & Supplier Relations Manager is responsible for optimizing product assortments, negotiating supplier terms, and creating impactful promotional strategies. In this role you will:
Lead with impact: build and nurture strong supplier relationships to ensure mutual success. Drive results: analyze category performance, uncovering opportunities and making data-driven decisions. Collaborate for success: partner with store teams to align strategies and ensure seamless execution. Skills and Qualifications
Strong and proven supplier negotiation and relationship management skills. Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decisions. A curiosity and growth mindset, with a proactive approach to learning, innovation, and continuous improvement. Proven experience in category management, buying, or supplier management, ideally within the grocery, FMCG, or retail sector. Demonstrated ability to build and execute rolling promotional plans. Experience engaging with store teams in a multi-site retail environment. A love of working with food and people (both colleagues and customers). Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, supply chain or a related field.
